Prime Minister Narendra Modi can announce various benefits for more than 32 crore generic account holders while addressing the nation on Independence Day. The aim is to reinforce the government's financial inclusion campaign. Official sources have received information about this.- According to sources, under the Prime Minister Jana Yojana (PMJDY), the overdraft facility for account holders can be increased to more than Rs 10,000. This is an attempt to make the cell available to the people of this government who are deprived of it. Apart from this, the government can announce attractive micro insurance plan. Free accident insurance for cardholders can be increased by one lakh rupees.
- According to sources, the second phase of PMJDY will end on 15th August and appropriate reforms are required to achieve the next target. Independence Day for Prime Minister is an excellent platform for this kind of announcement in the day-to-day speech.
