7th Pay Commission latest news today: the final decision on the minimum wage by the end of January, the probability of increasing
September 21: The Government is likely to make a final decision on increasing the minimum wage under the 7th Pay Commission or the 7th CPC in January 2018. Sources of the finance ministry said that the government can issue minimum minimum wage, the 7th Pay Commission, for the central government employees and pensioners from January next year, the Sen Times report. The government will increase the fitment factor by 2.57 times approved by the Cabinet on the basis of the 7th Pay Commission’s recommendations, he said.
It has been reported in the report that the government is considering increasing the minimum wage to Rs 21,000 from existing 18,000 under the 7th Pay Commission and higher payments may be effective from January 2018. With the increase in minimum wages, salary and pension, the central government employees will have to go upstairs, however, the Central Government employees want the government to pay a minimum wage of Rs 26,000 under the 7th Pay Commission.
